Honda supplies stationary fuel cell power stations at its Torrance campus in California

Honda has taken the first step toward commercializing future zero-emission stationary fuel cell power generation with the start of a demonstration operation of a stationary fuel cell power plant at the company's campus in Torrance, California. The fuel cell power station provides clean, quiet backup power to the data center at Honda's American Motor Company campus. The 500kW fuel cell power station reuses the fuel cell system of a previously leased Honda Clarity fuel cell vehicle and is designed to allow four additional fuel cells per 250 kW output.
