Asia's first commercial in-station AEM hydrogen refueling station

On July 19, Enapter AG announced that it has delivered 30 AEM EL 2.1 electrolyzers and 15 drying units to Tokyo Gas Company's Senju hydrogen refueling station, making it the first commercial in-station hydrogen refueling station in Asia to use AEM electrolyzers.

Enapter AG's AEM electrolyzer has an operating pressure of 8bar, which is in accordance with the Japanese High Pressure Gas Safety Law for the working pressure of electrolyzers. The hydrogen produced by AEM electrolyzer can meet the requirement of hydrogen purity of fuel cell after it is processed by auxiliary drying equipment.

Enapter is headquartered in Germany and already has a production site in Italy. In March 2023, Enapter and Wolong Group began to layout the Chinese market, and the two sides will jointly work on green hydrogen production and hydrogen storage system solutions. The Wolong-Enapter China joint venture will take full advantage of Enapter's AEM technology to produce small and megawatt-scale hydrogen electrolyzer systems.
